Vaporizer FAQ:

QIs the vaporizer directional?

No it is not.  The vaporizer may be mounted as you wish.  It is not a one-way flow design.

QDoes it matter if the MHE goes on the top or the bottom radiator hose?

The only benefit of the top hose is more heat and better accessibility.  If you can mount it between your heater hoses, this would be better in most applications.  You will get heat before the thermostat opens, plus, with the Vaporizer sandwiched between 2 hoses, you get twice the contact area.

QAre these black handled pliers the best to install the clamps on the fuel line?

Yes, they are furnished by the supplier of the fuel line!

QWhy we have not supplied all the fittings for the Magnetic Heat Exchanger (MHE) to all vehicles.

If has come to our attention that we have not supplied enough fittings to facilitate hooking up the Magnetic Heat Exchanger (MHE) to all vehicles. Let me try to explain the reasons to you.

1.       We have included what we considered the best hose and fittings available to be able to meet the requirements for the system and attach to the greatest number of vehicles.  Unfortunately, to be able to supply all the fittings it would take to hook up to every vehicle on the road we would have to charge $2000 for the kit and still probably would have some vehicles that use different fittings.  If the fittings supplied will not work with your particular application you will have to take responsibility to try to come up with the proper fittings to make your application work with our system!  Using the proper fittings and “Leak Lock” on the threads is the only way we know to absolutely keep the MHE from leaking!

2.       The Heat exchanger when properly installed will add between 3* and 25* of thermal energy to the fuel.  Many of the hoses on the market get soft, then the clamps get loose and you have a gas leak!  There goes your fuel mileage! (not to mention the safety hazard).  That is why we supplied the black hose that can withstand the heat, and the special clamping system that will expand and contract!  If you use anything else, you do so at your own risk.  If you MUST use other hose, use only that which has been rated for high pressure fuel injection systems.

3.       Some people have a problem that the fittings won’t fit their vehicle.  It is possible for you to modify one of the steel tubes included in the kit.  One end fits into the tubing included in the kit.  The tube can be cut in half and another fitting can welded or brazed to the other end to replace that end with another fitting to better hook up to your particular vehicle.  You may have to be a little creative to use the parts we supplied.  Please understand that this is the exception not the rule!

In our first run of kits we put the MHE together with Teflon pipe thread compound thinking that it was the best on the market.  After much research we found that we had a leaking problem.  A few of the very first kits had Teflon pipe thread compound.  You can tell this because it is white in color while the “Leak Lock” is blue.  We are now using a pipe thread compound called “Leak Lock”.  This can be found at all plumbing supply houses and some hardware stores and auto part suppliers.  If you happened to receive an MHE that does leak please go buy some “Leak Lock” and take the MHE apart, clean up the threads, apply a generous amount of “Leak Lock” to the threads and tighten all the fittings back up.  You must let the “Leak Lock” cure for 24 hours before hooking it up to your vehicle!  If you follow these instructions your leaks should be eliminated!
