GENERAL FAQ: Q: Why is the fuel cell fuse 25 amps but the switch rated at 20 amps? The switch only turns on the fuel cell relay, and the relay is what holds the amps of the fuel cell. So if wired properly, the amperage should not matter. Q:: How do I wire the relays? Here is the revised outline for the relay. Many people have had issues about wiring in the relay and blowing fuses. Hopefully this will clear things up for a few. Q: We have a 2004 Honda Accords EX that is EPA rated as SULEV (Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle). Will this kit work on this vehicle? Of course! We installed it on a 2007 Honda and when we went to get it inspected they couldn’t get a reading on the hydrocarbon emissions at all! Q: I’m getting foam from the Fuel Cell when I turn it on. What can I do? It seems that some people are mixing the caustic too strong. We suggest that you remove some of the caustic solution from the Fuel Cell and dilute what is left with distilled water. Keep playing with this mixture until you have exactly 15 amps, using a clamp on ammeter to measure. Do not hook the hose up to the vehicle until you get no foam while the unit is energized and making gas! |
